If you are having issue with your mailbox or mailbox combination (North, Rhoads, Building F, and ROCK Apartments have actual mailboxes), you can now submit a work order request via MyHousing Self-Service. Under Helpful Links menu, click Mailbox Issue and then complete and submit the form. You will receive an email confirmation and email regarding your mailbox issue/work order request if it has been completed.
For All Residents:
Mail will be delivered daily by 7pm. When a resident receives a piece of mail in the residence halls, our mailroom staff will send an email to the resident indicating they have received mail. Once a piece of mail is received and the resident notified, they will have 14 days to retrieve the mail. After 14 days, the mail will be returned to sender.
Residents of Suites A, B, Watson, D, and E:
Residents of these residence halls will need to retrieve their mail from Watson Hall, Room 228. They will need their Student ID to pick-up their mail. Mailroom Hours for the Watson Hall Room 228 will be Monday-Saturday, 2:00pm-7:00pm, but may slightly fluctuate due to staff availability. The Watson Mailroom WILL NOT be open on Sundays. If you need assistance, please stop by the Housing Office located in Watson Hall, Rm. 105.
Residents of North, Rhoads, and Building F:
Residents of these facilities will receive a mailbox and combination for that mailbox. Any mail received will be placed in the mailbox for the residents to retrieve. There is 24/7 access to these mailboxes. If you forget your mailbox or combination, you can look them up on MyHousing Self-Service.
Residents will receive an email at their sru.edu address when a piece of mail arrives for them at the Watson Mailroom (Room 228). The mail is stamped with the date it arrives in the Mailroom. Residents will have 14 days to retrieve their mail. Mail remaining in mailboxes after 14 days will be returned to sender.
Mail received over the Winter Break will also be returned to sender.
The ROCK Apartments Mailroom operates differently from the others. Residents of the ROCK Apartments will need to check their mailboxes as they will not receive an email when they have mail.
