Our center is a team of dedicated professionals committed to being an integral part of the academic and co-curricular journey of every student. We collaborate closely with faculty and other student service areas to provide students with the chance to have a successful academic and career life. Students engage with CCAP from the moment they visit campus and consider attending SRU, through to graduation, and beyond. SRU’s enrollment management team stands out as truly unique among universities. While admissions, orientation, and financial aid help students select SRU as their “First Choice,” the Center for Career and Academic Progress is devoted to guiding them through each semester, empowering them to set meaningful goals, make excellent academic and experiential learning choices, and ultimately achieve graduation. Whether students aim for gainful employment or entrance into graduate or professional school, we emphasize the importance of strong goal setting, relationship-building, academic excellence, and placing learning and wisdom at the forefront of their educational experience and always emphasizing a growth mindset.
