Your SRU account provides access to the many different systems needed to ensure your success at Slippery Rock University. For example, your SRU username and password are used to log in to MySRU, D2L, Office 365, CORE, Bailey Library Resources, administrative systems, and much more. Properly maintaining your account is important to ensure that you do not miss important deadlines.

Multi-Factor Authentication-MFA is a secure authentication method that prevents malicious access to an account by using multiple methods of authentication.Learn More about MFA.
Microsoft Authenticator App – is a requirement of SRU’s two-step verification MFA. Two-step verification helps you to use your accounts more securely because passwords can be forgotten, stolen, or compromised. Learn How to Install the App
Passwords- Keep your SRU account secure by maintaining your password. Avoid your password expiring and ensure you setup your password recovery tools. With the recovery tool you can reset your password at any time.Learn More about Passwords.
Alumni/Graduated: Slippery Rock University provides all active students with an account for email and Office 365. Once a student has not enrolled in courses for two consecutive academic sessions (Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter), their SRU account is purged and their email and documents can no longer be accessed. If you have been readmitted to the university, have been accepted into a new program, or are working on an incomplete course, please submit a request to reestablish your account by going to https://techsupport.sru.edu and clicking on Login as Guest.
