Pogue earns Highmark Healthcare scholarship

Stephanie Pogue, a Slippery Rock junior health care administration and management major from Butler, earned a Highmark Healthcare Scholarship for Rising Juniors. She attended a virtual meet-and-greet event last month to receive the award.

Funded by Highmark, the scholarship of $1,000 for both the spring and fall 2022 semesters, is awarded to rising juniors who attend one of the 14 institutions in Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education and is pursuing a degree in health care professions.
