There was a bevy of activity in the Slippery Rock community, Sept. 24, as Slippery Rock Development hosted its annual VillageFest, which included more than 100 craft and food vendors, live entertainment, kids activities, games and more. The event attracts between 5,000-7,000 visitors each year along Main Street in Slippery Rock. Slippery Rock University helped kick off the event by hosting a concert Friday night.
