People of all ages from across the county flooded Main Street in downtown Slippery Rock last Saturday, Sept. 18, for the return of VillageFest. Back from a one-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event provided attendees with a variety of vendors, live entertainment, children's games and plenty of great carnival food. Members of the SRU community joined in the fun before moving to Mihalik-Thompson Stadium to watch The Rock football team defeat Lock Haven, 57-7, in the annual "White Out" game.
