SRU's Public Health Sciences includes high-impact practices, such as:

- Membership in the Slippery Rock Collegiate Chapter of the Pennsylvania Public Health Association
- Student-faculty research
The Public Health major educates the whole person and prepares you to work as a professional in the public health field. Our curriculum emphasizes healthy lifestyles, multicultural health needs, research and advances in health and use of the latest health-related computer technology. In addition, Public Health Sciences offers pre-professional programs for physical therapy, occupational therapy and physician assistant studies.
