What was the focus of your internship?
The focus of my internship was analyzing open source intelligence in order to identify and track human trafficking groups.
What was your favorite aspect of your internship?
My favorite aspect of my internship was being able to apply critical thinking through the open-source intelligence analysis process and improving my ability to write an intelligence brief.
What are your future goals?
In the future, I hope to work as an intelligence analyst in the public or private sector.
What would you say to someone considering SRU’s Homeland and Corporate Security Studies program?
SRU’s Homeland and Corporate Security Studies program gives students essential information about the basics of homeland and corporate security. It also gives students the opportunity to challenge themselves with critical thinking and analysis with projects similar to what they may encounter while working in the field.
