Athletic Communication

The Athletic Communication Office at Slippery Rock University is responsible for handling all public relations efforts relating to The Rock's 17 NCAA Division II intercollegiate athletics programs.

Athletic Communication duties include writing, designing and producing content for the official website of SRU athletics, www.RockAthletics.com; assisting media in producing content about SRU's student-athletes; keeping statistics for all sports; and producing game programs and promotional materials for home events.

Other duties include broadcasting the majority of SRU's home athletic contests through live streaming on the Internet and live statistics feeds. The department also maintains the official Rock Athletics social media accounts at Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube, and provides video elements for the website.
