Online privacy concerns focus on the protection of "person identifiable" information, which an individual reasonably expects to be kept private. As the term suggests, "person identifiable" information is information which can be associated with a specific individual or entity, including, for example, a person's name, address or telephone number, e-mail address, and information about online activities that are directly linked to them. Information Collection
When you create a user name and password on the SRU ticketing site, that information is captured and stored in our secure ticketing database. The following information is collected and stored when you submit a ticket order online: name, address, contact phone, email address, tickets purchased, payment method, and amount of sale. In addition, each of our shows has associated interest codes. These codes are attached to your sales record and may be used by Slippery Rock University to facilitate contact with you about other similar events.
Disclosure
Slippery Rock University adheres to all State and Federal statutes and regulations that prohibit information disclosure for students, employees and other constituents. Slippery Rock University will not sell, trade, or otherwise disclose any person identifiable information in any manner that is not in conformity with applicable State or Federal statutes. Slippery Rock University takes appropriate steps to communicate all privacy policies and guidelines to all employees.

Slippery Rock University is fully committed to data security. We will continue to enhance our security procedures as new technology becomes available.
