Innes receives award to produce video play

Kari-Anne Innes, a Slippery Rock University assistant professor of theatre, received a $2,000 award to produce a video play in collaboration with Water Productions in New York City, Arizona State University and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. The play titled, “Three Girls of Shanghai,” is based on the testimonies of three Jewish women who grew up in Shanghai, China, during World War II.
