SRU students present at Bonner Congress

Two Slippery Rock University students presented at The Bonner Congress hosted by The Corella & Bertram F. Bonner Foundation, Oct. 27-28, in Black Mountain, North Carolina. Michaela Quiggle, a senior biology major from Johnsonburg, and Audalynn Aljoe, a junior recreational therapy major from DuBois, presented the workshop titled “How to Support the Student Journey.” The workshop focused on ways to support students during their undergraduate programs in both academic and personal settings. The Bonner Congress was attended by more than 150 student leaders from across universities in the Bonner network.

The Bonner Program is a nationally recognized four-year, undergraduate civic-engagement program providing leadership programming, academic support, engagement opportunities and a social network. More than 65 universities and colleges across the United States participate in the Bonner program including SRU.
