Yamamoto appointed to board of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages

Junko Yamamoto, a Slippery Rock University professor of curriculum, instruction and educational leadership, was recently appointed to the at-large higher education position on the board of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. Yamamoto was voted in due to her experience, advocacy and leadership in navigating the changing landscape of world language education at a critical time for the professional community.
Additionally, Yamamoto will be recognized with a reviewer award for her contributions to the Foreign Language Annals, the official refereed journal of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.
