Booser attends Three Rivers Information Security Symposium

Michael Booser, a Slippery Rock University junior cybersecurity major from Butler, recently attended the Three Rivers Information Security Symposium in Monroeville.

TRISS is hosted by Pittsburgh-area information technology and security organizations to increase awareness, collaboration and knowledge among the local information security community. The event attracted more than 400 attendees and 30 funding sponsors representing companies including U.S. Steel, PNC, PPG, Dick's Sporting Goods, UPMC, Bayer, Highmark and Giant Eagle.

Booser, who was accompanied by Susan Lubinski, associate professor of homeland and corporate security and department chair, attended presentations conducted by both physical security and cybersecurity experts.
