Walton receives Highmark Healthcare scholarship

Deborah Walton, a Slippery Rock University junior recreational therapy major from Irwin, received a Highmark Healthcare Scholarship for Rising Juniors.

Funded by Highmark, the scholarship of $1,000 for each of the next two years, is awarded to 100 "rising juniors who attend the 14 Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education institutions and are pursuing a degree in health care professions."
