SRU students earn scholarships from ABGPA Midstream

Two Slippery Rock University students were recently awarded scholarships of up to $3,000 from the Appalachian Basin Gas Processors Association Midstream.

Anna Woods, a petroleum and natural gas engineering major from Clymer, New York, and Morgan McIntyre, a sophomore petroleum and natural gas engineering major from Templeton, were among the six recipients of ABGPA Midstream scholarships, selected from 10 colleges and universities in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. The scholarship recognizes students interested in midstream careers who demonstrate outstanding academic excellence, leadership and student service.

ABGPA Midstream, a professional organization serving the Appalachian region, sets standards for natural gas liquids and is the primary advocate for a sustainable midstream industry, which consists of facilities and processes that sit between upstream and downstream gas segments.
