Jackson awarded scholarship from Pennsylvania Livestock Association

Sierra Jackson, a Slippery Rock University freshman biology major from Butler, was one of six college students awarded scholarships from the Pennsylvania Livestock Association during the opening ceremonies of the Keystone International Livestock Expo, Oct. 7.

Jackson was awarded a $7,000 scholarship, which was given by PLA to recognize “outstanding young individuals on the basis of leadership skills, a keen interest in the livestock industry and an involvement in KILE and support of PLA.”
