Burkhart has paper published in Quaternary Research Journal

Patrick Burkhart, a Slippery Rock University professor of geography, geology and the environment, recently wrote an article that was published in Quaternary Research, a peer-review journal from Cambridge University Press. The research paper, titled “Holocene Evolution of Parabolic Dunes, White River Badlands, South Dakota, USA, Revealed by High-Resolution Mapping,” includes contributions from professors in similar fields. The paper describes the use of high-resolution mapping to study the Holocene evolution of parabolic dunes in the White River Badlands in South Dakota.
