Hamilton receives learning center leadership certification

Amber Hamilton, a Slippery Rock University assistant professor of exploratory studies and academic progress, recently received the Learning Center Leadership Certification, Level 2, from the International College Learning Center Association.

The certification provides learning assistance professionals with nationally recognized credentials and standards for growth in the field. It features four levels of certification that emphasize experience, training, self-reflection, service and evaluation, while recognizing the diverse career paths of learning center professionals.
