Nwachuku elected president of AOSW, conducted online workshop

Brittany Nwachuku, a Slippery Rock University assistant professor of social work, has been elected as president to the Association of Oncology Social Workers. AOSW is an international nonprofit organization and the largest organization for oncology social workers.

Additionally, Nwachuku recently conducted an online workshop, titled “Is Diversity Training Enough? Assessing the ethical obligation of diversity in healthcare: implications for Women of Color (WOC),” on Continued, a continuing education website.
