Asher presents research at teaching statistics conference in Argentina

Jana Asher, a Slippery Rock University associate professor of mathematics and statistics, presented her research at the 11th International Conference on Teaching Statistics in Rosario, Argentina, Sept. 16.

The presentation, titled "Teaching Concepts of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Social Responsibility through Elementary Statistics," focused on how Asher has incorporated themes around diversity, equity and inclusion into her elementary statistics class.
