Kemeny receives citation from ATRA

Betsy Kemeny, a Slippery Rock University associate professor of recreational therapy, received the 2022 ATRA Presidential Citation at the annual conference of the American Therapeutic Recreation Association in Birmingham, Alabama.

Kemeny has served on ATRA’s board of directors since 2014, including a term as president. She received the citation for her work on the board, her advancements in the industry and her dedication as the SRU Recreational Therapy Department chair.
