Origel named Pittsburgh Magazine 40 Under 40

Jesus Origel, a 2020 Slippery Rock University graduate with a degree in interdisciplinary programs, was recently named to Pittsburgh Magazine’s 40 Under 40, which recognizes 40 outstanding individuals under the age of 40 whose creativity, vision and passion enrich the Pittsburgh region.

Origel, 33, completed his degree online this summer in SRU’s philanthropy and nonprofit management program. He is a campus minister for the Coalition for Christian Outreach and works with student athletes from the University of Pittsburgh. He is also a chaplain for the Pittsburgh Pirates, focusing on the Spanish-speaking players and coaches.
