Skobieranda Dau receives Butler collaboration award, appointed to Dress for Success board

Josette Skobieranda Dau, the Slippery Rock University associate director for place-based engagement and civic leadership, was recently awarded the Butler Collaborative for Families “Spirit of Collaboration” award for community outreach. Skobieranda Dau was recognized for her commitment to connecting organizations with similar interests and leading initiatives to that support the Butler County community.

The Butler Collaborative for Families is a membership organization of government agencies, social service agencies, houses of worship, businesses and community members dedicated to strengthening the system of care for individuals and families of Butler County.

Skobieranda Dau was also recently appointed to a three-year term with the Dress for Success Pittsburgh’s board of directors. Dress for Success is a non-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
