Mooney named Order of the Arrow region chief

Ethan Mooney, a Slippery Rock University junior computing major from Zelienople, has been elected the Northeast Region chief of the Order of the Arrow, the National Honor Society of the Boy Scouts of America.
As region chief, Mooney is one of six nationally elected Order of the Arrow officers and will provide leadership during his yearlong term of the Northeast Region, which consists of lodges in 13 states, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Order of the Arrow members, known as Arrowmen, are organized into local youth-led lodges that harbor fellowship, promote camping and render service to Boy Scout councils and their communities.
Mooney is an Eagle Scout and member of the Kuskitannee Lodge, Moraine Trails Council. Prior to being elected as Northeast Region chief, he served as section chief, lodge chief, lodge vice chief and section vice chief.
