Sept. 8, 2020
Nicholas Artman, a Slippery Rock University assistant professor of communication, was the lead author of an article that was published in Explorations in Media Ecology, the peer-reviewed journal of the Media Ecology Association.
The article, titled “Mass media in the mobile village,” examined mass media technologies and practices and attempted to assess the practical impact of the “mobile village” within the production, distribution and consumption of media and information. The mobile village is a term used to describe the constantly connected environment via the internet and mobile technology.
