Barnett presents at National Homeland Security Conference

Brett Barnett, a Slippery Rock University professor of strategic communication and media, presented at the annual National Homeland Security Conference in Cleveland this July for an event hosted by the National Homeland Security Association for public health, counterterrorism, crisis and disaster response, cybersecurity and infrastructure security professionals.

Having presented at NHSC three times since 2019, Barnett's most recent presentation, titled “Understanding U.S.-Based White Supremacist Extremists’ Online Communication,” was part of NHSC's Combating Domestic Violent Extremism track.
