Truax hired as Bucknell University's athletic director

Jermaine Truax, a 2008 Slippery Rock University with a master's degree in sport management, was recently named the director of athletics and recreation at Bucknell University.

Truax, who currently serves as the deputy director of athletics at Loyola University Chicago, will officially join Bucknell July 1. Bucknell competes in the NCAA's Division I as a member of the Patriot League.

In addition to Loyola Chicago, Truax's experience as an athletics administrator includes time at Bowling Green State University and St. Bonaventure University.
