Rony presents research about Twitter’s restriction on its employees

Nazmul Rony, a Slippery Rock University assistant professor of strategic communication and media, presented research at the Popular Cultural Association’s annual conference last month in San Antonio, Texas. Rony’s presentation, titled “Mass Exodus at Twitter and Public Discourse: A Sentiment Analysis,” analyzed public sentiments expressed on Twitter regarding Twitter CEO Elon Musk's imposition of restrictions on Twitter employees.

The PCA is a professional organization of scholars and enthusiasts who study popular culture. More than 1,000 college faculty attended the conference.
