SRU professors co-author climate change article

Jason Hilton, an associate professor of secondary education and foundations of education, and Patrick Burkhart, professor of geography, geology and the environment, co-authored an article about climate change that was published by Science Scope, a peer-reviewed journal for teachers, university faculty responsible for teacher preparation, and other science supervisors and leaders.

Hilton and Burkhart's article, titled "The Facts Don't Speak for Themselves," details evidence of climate change and suggested ways that science teachers can involve their students in investigations to find evidence of climate change in their local communities.
