Benkeser receives Outstanding Nursing Alumni Award

Kristina Benkeser, Slippery Rock University director of student health and wellness, was selected by the Ball State University Nursing Alumni Society as a recipient of its Outstanding Nursing Alumni award for 2022. This award recognizes BSU alumni who have made significant contributions to the nursing profession in the workplace and the community. 

Benkeser and one other recipient received the award at a banquet, April 23 at the BSU Alumni Center in Muncie, Indiana. She is a 1986 BSU graduate with bachelor’s degree in nursing. She also earned her master’s degree in nursing at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in 1991.
