Larson earns CISSP certification

Stephen Larson, a Slippery Rock University associate professor of business, recently became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional after he completed a course and passed an exam developed by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium.

The CISSP designation is a globally recognized, independent information security standard for affirming a professional's technical skills, knowledge about cybersecurity and experience for implementing and managing a security program. The CISSP certification includes a (ISC)2 membership, which provides access to resources, educational tools and networking opportunities.
