Ambrosio’s dance knowledge highlighted in two newly published books

Nora Ambrosio, a Slippery Rock University professor of dance, wrote a chapter titled “Social Dance in the United States” for the newly published book “Dance Cultures Around the World.” Ambrosio’s chapter focused on social dance as expression and a means for socialization.

Additionally, Ambrosio recently had the ninth edition of her book “Learning about Dance: Dance as an Art Form and Entertainment” published by Kendall Hunt. The book is used in colleges and universities across North America, with more than 400,000 copies sold.
