Thrush awarded Gillin ROTC scholarship

Logan Thrush, a Slippery Rock University senior homeland security major from Brookville, was awarded the Master Sgt. Kenneth C. Gillin ROTC Scholarship from the Special Forces Association, Chapter 67, a non-profit fraternal organization of current and retired U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers based in Johnstown.

Thrush, a member of SRU's Army ROTC program, received the $2,000 competitive award, selected from an applicant pool of the top junior cadets at Army ROTC programs in Pennsylvania.
