Three SRU artists accepted into national feminist art exhibit

Heather Hertel, a Slippery Rock University professor of art, Abigail Comes, a senior art major from Harrisville, and Tyra Welsh, a 2018 SRU graduate with a degree in art, had their artwork accepted into an exhibition titled “Feminist Art: Contemporary Perspectives,” a national juried art exhibition. Their work is being showcased at the Dorothy & Charles Mosesian Center for the Arts, in Watertown, Massachusetts, through May 3. The exhibition received more than 2,700 entries from current National Juried Art Honor Society members, of which fewer than 200 were selected.
