SRU selected as a self-study training exemplar by MSCHE

Slippery Rock University was selected by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education as a model for other institutions who are preparing to submit their self-studies to earn reaffirmation of accreditation. SRU successfully completed its reaffirmation last year and MSCHE is using SRU’s self-study as a “training exemplar” to guide other institutions going through the process.

MSCHE is the accrediting body for institutions of higher education from mostly a five-state area including Pennsylvania. MSCHE requires each member to reaffirm its status every eight years.
