Sulava awarded Diver Medical Education Grant

Madeline Sulava, a Slippery Rock University senior exercise science major from Leechburg, was recently awarded a Diver Medical Education Grant: Emergency First Responder grant through the Women Divers Hall of Fame. The WDHOF annually awards more than $68,000 to 47 individuals for financial and educational support for people who are preparing for professional careers that involve diving. Sulava, who was awarded $500, is an emergency medical technician in Leechburg and is a teaching assistant for SRU’s Skin and Scuba course and Emergency Medical Response course.
