Phi Kappa Phi chapter at SRU earns Silver Circle of Excellence

Phi Kappa Phi, the Honor Society at Slippery Rock University, was awarded the Silver Circle of Excellence status for 2018-19, as part of the Phi Kappa Phi national office's Circle of Honor Chapter Awards Program.

The Phi Kappa Phi chapter at SRU received a small cash award after meeting the criteria for promoting excellence on campus and engaging its community of scholars. The standards for Silver Circle status include hosting ceremonial and training events, electing officers and maintaining good financial standing.

Each year, Phi Kappa Phi invites more than 20 SRU students from all academic disciplines to join the chapter if they rank in the top 7.5 percent of their junior class or the top 10 percent of their senior class.
