Wujcik named aquatics and safety coordinator at SLU

Emily Wujcik, a 2016 Slippery Rock University graduate, was recently hired as the aquatics and safety coordinator in the Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness at Saint Louis University.

Wujcik, who majored in early childhood and special education with a minor in aquatics, helps manage SLU's 10,400-square-foot aquatics facility that includes an indoor pool with six lap lanes, a diving well and a whirlpool, and two outdoor pools. She also collaborates with a risk management team to ensure that the pools and buildings remain as safe as possible.

A member of the National Drowning Prevention Alliance, Wujcik earned her master's degree in sport management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
