Moore stars in PPTCO's "In the Heat of the Night"

Kevin Moore, a 2013 Slippery Rock University graduate with a degree in theatre, is starring in Pittsburgh Playwright Theatre Company's production of "In the Heat of the Night" through March 11 at the Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre.

Moore stars as Virgil Tibbs in Matt Pelfrey's adaptation of the John Ball novel that became an Oscar-winning movie and Emmy-winning television series. Directed by Monteze Freeland, the play is about a black police detective, played by Moore, who is falsely arrested in a murder investigation while visiting family in the South.
