Ogoreuc earns American Red Cross Top Provider Award

Bob Ogoreuc, a Slippery Rock University assistant professor of physical and health education, received a 2019 American Red Cross Top Provider Award.

The American Red Cross recognizes providers in each of its regions who train the most people to save lives in a calendar year, certifying them for skills including first aid, CPR and lifeguarding.

Ogoreuc certified more than 200 individuals in 2019 by teaching courses at SRU that offer instructor-level certifications in areas that included lifeguarding, emergency medical response, basic water rescue, wilderness and remote first aid, CPR and more.
