Khalili’s article about sociological factors of skin cancer published

Ahmad Khalili, a Slippery Rock University professor emeritus of sociology, recently coauthored an article published in the International Journal of Dermatology. Khalili’s article, titled “The sociological basis of the skin cancer epidemic,” is about the sociological factors underscoring the skin cancer epidemic, such as demographics, human ecologic, social structures, gender differences in sunbathing, tanning, sunscreen use, clothing choice, occupational exposure and more.
