Ross appointed to AHLEI advisory council

Mary Jo Ross, a Slippery Rock University associate professor of hospitality, event management and tourism, was appointed by the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute to its Education Certification Advisory Council.

The council, which meets three times per year, helps ensure the quality and consistency of credentials and training resources offered by the AHLEI. The AHLEI is a nonprofit member benefit of the American Hotel and Lodging Association, which is a national trade group for thousands of hotel brands, owners, management companies and other lodging industry partners and suppliers.
