Cole named chair of Butler County Chamber of Commerce

Christopher Cole, Slippery Rock University's director of auxiliary operations and student services, was recently named chair of the Butler County Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors.

Cole, who's beginning his seventh year on the board, represents SRU and attends monthly board meetings to plan programs, benefits and activities for chamber members, as well as set policy for the organization.

As Butler County's largest business organization, the BCCC provides local leadership to preserve, enhance and extend the quality of life and economic prosperity of businesses in Butler County and promote free enterprise.
