Reep receives AFSCME scholarship

Austin Reep, a junior Slippery Rock University philosophy major from Butler, received a $750 scholarship from the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.

The scholarship is awarded to an SRU student who meets credit and GPA requirements and is a dependent of an SRU employee in the AFSCME union. Reep's mother, Deb Reep, is a secretary in the Division of Finance, Administrative Affairs and Advancement Services.

Austin Reep is part of SRU's Army ROTC program and made the deans' list for the fall 2018 semester.
