McGinty featured in two online publications

Patrick McGinty, a Slippery Rock University instructor of English, was featured in two online publications this month. McGinty wrote an essay, titled “Everywhere in Blockchains: Surveying the Bitcoin Barbarians,” that was featured in The Baffler, an American magazine of cultural, political and business analysis that publishes six issues annually. He reviewed recent books about cryptocurrency and charted his own personal crypto arc, from supporter to skeptic.

McGinty was also included as an expert in a WalletHub article, titled “2022’s Best & Worst States to Drive in.” He provided information about self-driving cars, transportation issues and policies, and predictions for the automotive industry. WalletHub is a personal finance website.
