Baker receives PA Presenters Service Award

Deb Baker, Slippery Rock University director of special events, received the 2019 Pennsylvania Presenters Service Award, an annual award for individuals who have made meaningful volunteer contributions to PA Presenters, a performing arts consortium.

Baker is a founding member and past president of PA Presenters, which consists of individuals, businesses and organizations dedicated to presenting and touring the live, performing arts in Pennsylvania and neighboring states.

Baker has more than 35 years' experience developing and implementing performing arts events, including the last 14 years at SRU, where she oversees the University's Performing Arts & Lecture Series.
