Strahler earns two Campus Compact micro-credentials

Doug Strahler, a Slippery Rock University associate professor of strategic communication and media, earned two micro-credentials through Campus Compact’s Community Engagement Professional Credentialing Program.
Strahler earned micro-credentials in “Community Engagement Fundamentals” and “Supporting Engaged Faculty Development,” an opportunity that was supported by SRU’s Office for Community-Engaged Learning.
Campus Compact is an organization that provides civic and community engagement professionals with opportunities to earn formal recognition for the knowledge and skills they develop throughout their careers. Campus Compact’s digital certifications recognize an individual’s competency in a specific area of higher education community engagement practice in a manner characterized by equity and integrity.
