Ugwuoke named director at Mohawk Valley Health System

Chisom Ugwuoke, a 2014 Slippery Rock University graduate with a degree in management, was recently hired by Mohawk Valley Health System as its director of the Service Response Center and Patient Transport.

Ugwuoke oversees the SRC that responds to issues related to housekeeping, patient equipment, general maintenance and patient transport. Prior to joining MVHS, Ugwuoke was the assistant director and patient flow manager at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Based in Utica, New York, MVHS is an integrated health care delivery system that includes St. Elizabeth Medical Center and Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare, serving Oneida, Herkimer and Madison counties.
