Abbs’ article about foster parents and children published by Social Work Today

Kristie Abbs, a Slippery Rock University assistant professor of social work, recently wrote an article for the Social Work Today E-Newsletter titled “Supporting Foster Parents and Children.”

Abbs provides details about the challenges faced by foster parents and children and information on how to offer increased support to meet both of their needs across the micro, macro and mezzo levels. Social Work Today is a newsletter with 25,000 subscribers for social workers, educators, counselors/clinicians, private practitioners, administrators and students.
